REMTECH EXPO: TECHNOLOGICAL HUB OF SUSTAINABLE REMEDIATION, NOW EVOLVED INTO A HUB FOR TECHNOLOGICAL AND ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION
RemTech Expo promotes the evolution of the Technological Hub of Sustainable Remediation, into a Hub for Technological and Ecological Transition. A Hub in perfect synergy with the Ministry of Ecological Transition, Ispra, the Extraordinary Commissioner for the Remediation of Abusive Landfills, and with the participation of all major public and private, national and international players, with the aim of promoting the value of land remediation and environmental recovery at national level.
The joint project involves the organization of a major event focused on the theme of technologies and remediation activities, crowned by an exhibition of the best products and services and moments of comparison between institutions, businesses, associations, universities, research, experts every day engaged in the regeneration of contaminated land. It also provides a parallel time of meeting and discussion with citizens and students of some schools in the area and site visit directly on the "land of fires".
The evolution of the Technological Hub for Sustainable Land Reclamation has culminated in the creation of the new Hub for Ecological Technological Transition - HuTTE whose acronym, in German, means "hut" and we intend it as a place of meeting, socialization, exchange of ideas, in the name of full sustainability starting from the natural elements that compose it (land, water, plants)" so in a note the coordinator Prof. Vito Uricchio, one of the leading experts in the field of remediation of contaminated sites at national and international level. "The time that we are living, in the perspective of a future of recovery and development, needs to be based solidly on a wide and rich network of relationships that combines the world of institutions, business and all citizens, in a place of constructive debate oriented to compositions, technical and scientific, able to push the country on the path of environmental protection and widespread welfare," he concludes.
Silvia Paparella, General Manager of RemTech Expo, in a note declares "The Hub will represent a real pole of excellence that sees, among others, the possibility of identifying pilot areas for the application of innovative technologies already available on the market and the testing of new technologies in the validation phase. Today, we want to be ready, and respond with conviction and determination to the challenges that await us in the coming years"
